Brian Tuai, MD FACS


Biography


Dr. Tuai attended Ohio State University, College of Medicine after he received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at UC Davis in 1992. He completed his general surgery residency at UC San Francisco/Fresno, where he spent a year as a clinical instructor in the Department of Surgery, before beginning a private practice in Chino. He joined the Group in December, 2004.


Dr. Tuai is a Board Certified surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who has extensive experience with advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques including robotic surgery. He is the medical director of robotic surgery at St. John's Regional Medical Center.    Visit the da Vinci surgical system for more on robotic surgery.

Dr. Tuai's passion is minimally invasive surgeries, especially involving the colon, stomach, gall bladder, and hernias.  He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Korean.
